Body of 1-Year-Old Found in River in Vayots Dzor Region

A tragic incident occurred on September 28 in the Vayots Dzor region. According to Shamshyan.com, at approximately 18:40, the Emergency Situations Ministry's Rescue Service received a call reporting that a 1-year-old boy had gone missing in the town of Vayk, prompting the need for rescue assistance.

Shortly thereafter, rescuers from Vayots Dzor, along with numerous officers from the Vayk Police Department, as well as relatives and fellow citizens of the missing child, discovered the body of 1-year-old Aram T. in the main river by the first alley on the Jermuk highway. The rescuers retrieved the body and are currently waiting for investigators from the Armenian Investigative Committee's Vayots Dzor regional department to arrive on the scene to prepare materials regarding the incident.
