5-Year-Old Child Injured in a Hit-and-Run Incident in Kotayk Province
On September 28, a hit-and-run incident occurred in Kotayk Province. Around 12:40 PM, Vahé Grigoryan, a 28-year-old resident of the village of Ohanavan, struck a 5-year-old child identified as A. M. while driving his Opel vehicle on the 1st km section of the road leading to the village of Argel.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the driver did not flee the scene and immediately called the Abovyan Medical Center, where a medical team arrived promptly. The team, accompanied by V. Grigoryan, transported the child to the Abovyan Medical Center for treatment.
Shamshyan’s reports indicate that the child's life and health are not in danger, and the driver, V. Grigoryan, works as an inspector in the community policing division of the Nairi Police Department.
