Video: Citizen Issues Death Threat Against Suren Papikyan

The Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Suren Papikyan, was subjected to a death threat by a resident of Ejmiadzin, Rafael Mkrtichyan, who was recently detained by police from the Government House.

“They said there was a report that I issued a death threat. I’m going to the station now. This is how our new Government operates. Tell the Minister that I went,” said the Ejmiadzin resident.

It is noteworthy that the citizen was participating in a protest rally in the Government yard, calling on the government to address the irrigation water issue. They were demanding a meeting with Minister Suren Papikyan.
