Man Who Fell on Metro Tracks in Tbilisi Dies
A man who fell onto the tracks at the "Samgori" metro station in Tbilisi died today at Ingorokva Hospital due to injuries incompatible with life.
The incident occurred the evening before, when the passenger fell onto the tracks and was subsequently struck by a train.
As a result of the rescue efforts, the metro operations were paralyzed at three stations in Tbilisi. The identity of the man remains unknown at this time.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has launched a criminal case under the article concerning "driving to suicide" related to the incident.
