ZIL Collides with Opel Zafira in Aragatsotn Province, Turning it into Metal Scrap; 4 Injured
On September 6, a major car accident occurred in Aragatsotn Province. Around 22:25, on the Yerevan-Vanadzor highway, in the administrative area of Artashavan village, the driver of a ZIL vehicle crossed into the opposite lane and collided with an Opel Zafira, turning it into metal scrap. The ZIL continued forward, hitting another Opel vehicle before veering off the roadway and rolling over multiple times for about 20 meters, ultimately ending up overturned in a gorge.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan from the scene, 4 individuals with bodily injuries were transported to the Ashtarak Medical Center.
