19-Year-Old Citizen Falls into Elevator Shaft

On September 6, at 13:04, the '911' service received a call reporting that a citizen had fallen into the basement of a glove factory in the village of Artsvaberd, Tavush Province. Rescue assistance was needed.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a firefighting and rescue team from the regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene.

It has been determined that the citizen (Samvel V., born in 2000) fell into the elevator shaft. Rescuers retrieved the victim from the shaft and brought him to an ambulance. The injured individual was hospitalized at the medical center in Berd.
