Armenian National Team Left with 10 Players
The Armenian national football team was left with 10 players during the Euro 2020 qualifying match against Italy. In added time of the first half, Alexander Karapetyan was sent off after having scored the opening goal in the 11th minute. He received a second yellow card for a foul on Leonardo Bonucci. Earlier, he had received a yellow card for engaging in a dispute.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin were present at the match.
