Collision Between Gazelle and Audi: Several Injured

On August 30th, at 17:28, the emergency hotline received information that an accident had occurred near the village of Arshaluj in the Armavir region, and help from rescuers was needed.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that a firefighting and rescue unit from the regional rescue administration has been dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that on the left side of the 27th kilometer of the M-5 international highway section between Yerevan and Armavir, a collision occurred between a Gazelle vehicle (driver: Samvel A., born in 1990) and an Audi vehicle (driver: Haik B., born in 1990). The Audi was overturned and ended up in a nearby stream.

Before the rescuers arrived, the driver of the Audi and a passenger, Zhiryair B. (born in 1996), were taken to Ejmiatsin Hospital by local forces, where doctors assessed their condition as satisfactory.

The rescuers closed the gas cylinder valves and disconnected the vehicles' power supply.
