Levon Julfalakyan Resigns: Reasons Behind the Decision

Over the past months, there have been disagreements within the team, with some athletes wanting the head coach to work according to their directives, to have the training plan composed based on their preferences, and to choose the location and composition of the competition participants according to their wishes. This was stated by Levon Julfalakyan, the now former head coach of the Greco-Roman wrestling team, during a recent conversation with journalists about the reasons for his resignation.

According to Julfalakyan, the heads of the supervising bodies were not in favor of his decision, but he is convinced that his choice is correct. “In short, there is a conspiracy being organized; the reasons are understandable in some aspects and unclear in others, but the fact remains that my personality cannot continue in this role,” he said.
