Trump Accidentally Insults Supporter and Removes Him from Rally
U.S. President Donald Trump accidentally insulted a supporter by confusing him with a protester. This was reported by Reuters.
A group of protesters attended a meeting with the American leader and his supporters. Trump mistook his supporter, Frank Dawson, who was wearing a "Trump 2020" shirt, for one of the demonstrators. He publicly stated that Dawson had a weight problem and asked for him to be removed from the rally.
Later, upon realizing his mistake, Trump attempted to reach out to Dawson. He sent a voice message thanking him for his support. Dawson commented on the incident, admitting that he did not hold a grudge against Trump.
