Investigative Committee Accused of Plagiarism by Samvel Martirosyan
The Investigative Committee is engaged in plagiarism by failing to mention the actual author of a video, which was created by "Lydian" and posted on its channel two weeks before the revolution. This was stated by information security expert Samvel Martirosyan on his Facebook page, responding to a video released by the Investigative Committee regarding measures to mitigate the harm from the exploitation of Amulsar.
His full post is as follows:
“The Investigative Committee has posted a video on its YouTube page featuring an animation about Amulsar. The video has no description. The same content was posted on the website: http://www.investigative.am/ne…/view/3d-holovak-amulsar.html
The descriptive text states: 'The 3D video published by the RA Investigative Committee presents a number of mitigation and additional measures that "Lydian Armenia" has undertaken to implement.'
According to the text, it appears that the video belongs to the Investigative Committee and was produced by them. However, this is a video created by Lydian, posted on their channel two weeks before the revolution: https://www.youtube.com/watch…
This collection of facts creates a chain of unacceptable actions. Starting with the Investigative Committee engaging in plagiarism by not indicating the actual author, and ending with the fact that the Committee is busy promoting Lydian and trying to manipulate public opinion.
Lastly, I should mention that the links to social networks at the bottom of the Investigative Committee's website are simply laughable - the Facebook link leads to a blocked user, the Twitter link just goes to Twitter, and there is also a link to Google Plus, which no longer exists.
Let’s work together to reform the state system and correct the mistakes.”
It should be noted that the RA Investigative Committee published a 3D video on August 23, presenting a number of mitigation and additional measures that "Lydian Armenia" has undertaken to implement.
