I Confess: I Was Wrong. New Post by Naira Zohrabyan
The Chair of the Standing Committee on Human Rights and Public Affairs of the National Assembly of Armenia, Naira Zohrabyan, has addressed the Armenian member of Erdogan's party, Margarita Esayan, in a post on her Facebook page. The MP specifically stated:
“This creature has become active again. In the past, when I ‘punished’ the Armenian, a devoted servant of Erdogan, Margarita Esayan, in Strasbourg for voting in favor of Bob Walter's disgraceful anti-Armenian report, the Council of Europe imposed sanctions against me and discussed my issue in the Bureau of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. I would like to remind you that this ‘creature’ is a descendant of Vahe Ihsan, who compiled a list of Armenian intellectuals in 1915 and handed it over to the Young Turks. Recently, this ‘creature’ also sent a letter of protest to the Italian parliamentary chamber, accusing Italian MPs of condemning the Armenian Genocide. And now this garbage has launched a fierce campaign against Garo Paylan in Turkey, calling on Turkish law enforcement to deal with Paylan. When Margarita Esayan behaved like the filthiest young Turk in Strasbourg, I urged the Armenian community of Turkey not to seek revenge against this ‘creature.’ I sincerely confess: I was wrong.”
