Police Conduct 'Cannabis-Poppy 2019' Operation in National Assembly
On August 16, officers from the 1st platoon of the 2nd company of the Patrol-Police Division of the Yerevan police detained a citizen from the mail department of the National Assembly on suspicion of carrying a cold weapon.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, it has been revealed that the detainee is 44-year-old Musheg H., a resident of Yerevan, who was found in possession of a folding knife and handcuffs.
Shamshyan's information indicates that Musheg H. has stated in the Arabkir police station that he is the head of security for one of the companies operating in Yerevan. Investigations are underway in the investigative department of the Arabkir police regarding the incident. Musheg H. has been released.
