Explosion Occurs in Northeastern Syria
An explosion in the northeastern province of Hasakah, Syria, has resulted in the death of four fighters from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) who were on duty. This information was reported by РИА Новости, citing the pro-government media outlet Al-Watan.
According to the source, "Four SDF fighters died near the village of Al-Hama, west of the city of Al-Hasakah, as a result of an explosive device detonation." No terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the incident yet.
The northeastern regions of Syria are under the control of the SDF, which is formed by Kurdish units and supported by the United States. Damascus has previously stated that it considers their actions to be illegal.
