The Road to the Gogavan-Gughuti Border Checkpoint is Closed
The Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Georgia reports that on August 10, a truck transporting alcohol overturned on the Georgian section of the road leading to the Gogavan-Gughuti border checkpoint, approximately 4 km from the border. As a result of the overturning, the road to the checkpoint has been closed.
Currently, traffic has been halted, and there is a queue of vehicles at the border. "Georgian authorities have reported that work is already underway to remove the overturned truck from the road, and the road will be opened soon," the Armenian embassy in Georgia stated.
