Details of New Explosions at Russian Achinsk Military Base

New explosions have erupted in a military base near Achinsk city in Russia's Krasnoyarsk region, followed by a fire. Twelve people have been injured. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, lightning strike was the cause of the explosion.

Currently, work is underway at the military storage facility from the air. Firefighters plan to carry out 20 flights using an IL-76 aircraft and will drop over 40 tons of water on the burning warehouses.

According to available information, six buildings near the military warehouse have been completely collapsed. Additionally, 59 buildings have suffered partial damage, including a local school and kindergarten.
