Century-Old Tree Falls, Damaging Volvo Owned by Spayka Company

Yesterday at approximately 19:50, a century-old dry tree uprooted and fell to the ground on Melkumov Street. According to photo journalist Gagik Shamsyan, the tree landed on the front part of a Volvo vehicle belonging to the Spayka company that was passing by at the time.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries from the incident. However, the fallen tree partially blocked the road, turning it into a one-way street. Workers from the landscaping departments of Davitashen and Ajapnyak used electric saws to cut up the tree and remove it from the roadway.
