The Road to Dilijan Tunnel is Now Open
On July 27, at 14:36, the emergency service '911' received a report regarding a landslide on the road from the village of Tsovagyugh in Gegharkunik Province leading to the Dilijan Tunnel. Rescuers were needed at the scene.
An operational group from the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a rescue team from the specialized rescue operations center, and one combat unit were dispatched to the site.
As of 20:00, the road leading to the Dilijan Tunnel was temporarily closed, and the former Sevan-Dilijan road was in operation.
At 20:21, the road leading to the Dilijan Tunnel was reopened. Additional information will be provided.
