Live: Head of Armenian Police on Ijevan Incidents
On the evening of July 17, clashes broke out between protesters blocking the road in Ijevan due to demands for logging and police officers, resulting in injuries to both police personnel and civilians. Since yesterday, the head of the Armenian Police, Valeri Osipyan, along with officers from various police divisions, has been present in Ijevan.
As a result of the clashes, 12 police officers were injured and transported to the Ijevan Medical Center, with eight of them subsequently moved to Yerevan.
Currently, the head of the Armenian Police, Valeri Osipyan, is answering questions from reporters.
