Helicopter Crashes in Ukraine
A Mi-2 helicopter has crashed in the Sumy region of Ukraine, resulting in one fatality. According to TASS, this information was reported by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service.
“On July 17, at 15:29 (Yerevan time 16:29), the State Emergency Service received information that the Mi-2 helicopter crashed while performing crop spraying operations near the village of Yablolchnoe in the Sumy region. As a result of the aviation accident, one person (the pilot) has died,” the agency's statement said.
The causes of the helicopter crash are under investigation.
