Emergency Situations Ministry Responds to Family Threatening Self-Immolation
On July 13, at 14:25, the "911" service received a call reporting that a family in one of the apartments at 11/2 Aghbyur Serob Street in Yerevan was undergoing an eviction process and had locked themselves in, threatening to blow up the apartment due to a gas leak. Emergency rescue services were urgently needed.
A firefighting team, a special rescue operations team, and a psychologist from the Psychological Support Division were dispatched to the scene. At the site, only the psychologist participated in the operations, and through negotiations, managed to prevent the breaking down of the door.
