Yerevan - Gyumri bus hits woman, victim dies at the scene

A tragic incident has occurred in the Shirak province, according to SHAMSHYAN.com. As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the driver of the Yerevan-Gyumri bus struck a pedestrian on Yerevan Highway in Gyumri.

The victim, identified as 68-year-old Susanna Khachatryan, a resident of Gyumri, died at the scene. Police from the Gyumri division have arrived at the location.

Investigators from the Shirak regional investigation department of the Armenian Investigative Committee are currently working at the site. Authorities are working to determine the identity of the bus driver.
