Citizen Attempts to Jump from Balcony

On July 9, at 16:08, the "911" service received a call reporting that a resident of a building on Mamigonian Street in Yerevan was in a psychologically unstable state and was attempting suicide by jumping from the balcony. Emergency services were requested for assistance.

A response team from the National Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, along with a psychological advisor from the psychological support division and a firefighting rescue unit, was dispatched to the scene.

Before the rescuers arrived, the suicide attempt was prevented by the efforts of citizens. Further information will be provided.
