Criminal Case Initiated Based on MP Gayane Abrahamyan's Report has Been Suspended
The criminal case initiated based on the report of Gayane Abrahamyan, a member of the "My Step" faction of the National Assembly, has been suspended according to the first subparagraph of the first part of Article 31 of the Criminal Procedure Code. This was announced to NEWS.am by the head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Investigative Committee, Naira Harutyunyan.
"It is unclear who the person is that should be involved as a suspect in the criminal case," she noted.
Previously, Gayane Abrahamyan had posted on her Facebook page that a criminal case had been initiated regarding insults and death threats made by a Facebook user named Robert Avagyan. As part of this case, Narek Malyan and Arthur Danielyan have been summoned for questioning.
