Ethnographer Hranush Kharatyan has written on her Facebook page: “Until the members of the Constitutional Court understand that the situation has truly changed and that the current government is also familiar with the analyses of other lawyers, sometimes even taking them more seriously, until they realize that announcing directives in a commanding tone not only fails to positively influence public opinion but, on the contrary, intensifies the questions regarding their analytical capability and impartiality, until they finally grasp that the problem has gone beyond the narrow fellowship of the Constitutional Court, their actions will only serve to prove their moral, perhaps also intellectual and epistemological incapacity to engage in dialogue with society and the other arms of power. It is bad, very bad, this is, ladies and gentlemen members. It is not the public's responsibility to defend your mistakes; you are obligated to be practically accountable to the only supreme bearer of the Constitution—the society.

Soon, a month will pass since the legal-political crisis of the Constitutional Court began, and you have yet to present any concrete explanations to the public beyond finger-pointing statements. You surely have long been free from the illusion of constantly reporting to the Republican Party; do you not want to lead yourselves into a dead end? As much as desired—this is now impossible, and the resources you are familiar with to seek solutions are nearly exhausted. Look also for resources in unfamiliar places.”
