Hold Strict Accountability: Threats Against Styopa Safaryan and His Sister

On June 20 of this year, a message was received through the messenger of my official Facebook page, threatening my family, including my sister, attorney Seda Safaryan, in connection with the March 1 case from the user Aram Tumanyan. This was announced by Styopa Safaryan, a member of the Public Council and political analyst, on his Facebook page.

He continued that he considers the directed threat to be a response to his legal and public activities as a member of the Public Council and to that of his sister, member of the Armenian Bar Association, Seda Safaryan.

“I have reasonable doubts about the identity of the author of the threat and their previous crimes, as well as those committed by their family members and their sponsors. I urge you to identify the perpetrator in a short time and to hold them strictly accountable,” Safaryan added.
