Certain Purchases for Armed Forces Needs to be Classified

The government has made a decision to settle the accounts payable arising from the goods supplied by "Aragats" LLC in 2018 under contracts signed with the RA Ministry of Defense, as well as the services rendered by A/J Hayarpi Kalantaryan in 2018. This decision also includes the need to classify certain purchases for the needs of the RA Armed Forces and to include them in the Ministry of Defense's classified procurement list, as well as to organize the procurement process for these items.

There is a necessity to document the payments to the mentioned companies within the framework of these contracts in the financial statements of the RA Ministry of Defense, and to settle the resulting accounts payable of 2,199,982 and 1,600,000 respectively from the funds of the Ministry of Defense for 2019.
