Venice Commission on Developments Regarding Armenia's Constitutional Court
The Venice Commission held its latest session yesterday, where it was informed about the constitutional processes in Armenia and the statements regarding the members of the Constitutional Court. This is stated in the minutes of the commission's meeting.
"The Venice Commission requested the chairperson to closely monitor the developments in order to issue a public statement if necessary," the minutes noted.
The commission also authorized the immediate preparation of an opinion on the amendments to Armenia's Judicial Code, which is to be sent to the applicants before the start of the plenary session in October.
