Residents of Teghut and Shnogh Block Road to Teghut

An emergency situation has arisen in the Lori region. According to Shamshyan.com, starting at 5:00 AM, residents of the Shnogh and Teghut communities have blocked the road leading to Teghut village and the 'Teghut' LLC.

As reported by photographer Gagik Shamshyan, the residents demand that 'Teghut' LLC fulfills its promise to prioritize hiring workers from the local community. They also require that someone from the company's management meet with them.

Police officers from the Tumanyan division have arrived at the site, led by division head Lernik Gigolyan. Also present is David Gumaşyan, the head of the enlarged Shnogh-Karkop-Teghut community.

He assured the villagers that he would discuss the raised issues with the company's management by Monday and provide a concrete response. If the answer is unsatisfactory to the residents, he stated he would stand with them and raise the issue further.
