High-ranking Defense Ministry Officer Crashes Opel into Building Wall
A serious traffic accident occurred in the Ararat region today, June 18. Around 19:50, the driver of an Opel Astra with license plate 35 VX 986 lost control on Griboedov Street in the village of Ararat, veering off the road and crashing into a building wall, subsequently ending up in the middle of the road.
According to information from shamshyan.com, the driver, having been assisted first by nearby villagers and employees of a nearby shopping center, was pulled from the vehicle with the help of citizens and taken in their cars to the Ararat Medical Center. After receiving initial medical assistance, the driver was transferred to the well-known Muratsan Hospital.
According to G. Shamshyan, the driver serves as a major in the N military unit of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
