644 Grams of Cannabis Discovered in Correctional Facility
Employees of the Ministry of Justice's Nubarashen Correctional Facility, acting on operational information, discovered and seized a total of 644 grams of a cannabis-like substance during an inspection of the facility's external area on June 17.
This was reported by the Public Relations Department of the Correctional Service of the Ministry of Justice of Armenia.
On the same day, staff members at the Artik Correctional Facility inspected a package brought in by citizen V. S. for inmate M. T. Around 3:30 PM, during the inspection, a mobile phone SIM card was found hidden within a towel.
Materials regarding these incidents are being prepared, and a forensic examination has been ordered.
