My Nomination Is the Result of a Political Decision: Vahe Grigoryan
Of course, it is the result of a political decision. This was stated by Vahe Grigoryan, candidate for membership in the Constitutional Court, during a conversation with reporters when asked whether he agrees with the view that his nomination is a result of a political decision. According to Grigoryan, the nomination has occurred from one political body to another.
He also assured that there have been no violations regarding his nomination, contrary to claims made by opposition members and some lawyers. Grigoryan stated that he feels absolutely no constraint, even though he has good relations with representatives of the authorities: "When elected to this position, I will not be swearing allegiance to any group. I do not intend to continue the old traditions that have applied in the case of others."
Today, Grigoryan met with the My Step faction in the parliament.
