Robert Kocharian's Congratulatory Message to Bako Sahakyan

The first President of Nagorno-Karabakh and the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharian, sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Bako Sahakyan, on May 9, in connection with Victory Day, the Day of the Artsakh Defense Army, and the day of the Liberation of Shushi.

The message was shared on Robert Kocharian’s Facebook page.

“The liberation of Shushi symbolizes our unwavering will to build a sovereign state, preserve our national identity, and ensure our free development. Our historic choice is irrevocable. The proof of this is the establishment of the Artsakh Defense Army, state structures, and the Republic of Artsakh itself, born in the midst of war. This holiday was primarily shaped by those who became heroes on the battlefield. By nurturing Artsakh, we also fulfill the mission of our fallen comrades. I wish peace and prosperity to the people of Armenia and Artsakh,” he stated.
