Pashinyan's Allies Implement Their Mission Through the Prime Minister, Arthur Ghazinyan
Arthur Ghazinyan, the director of the European Studies Center at Yerevan State University, wrote on his Facebook page:
“Pashinyan is losing control over the actions of those in power.
The newly formed government, with 50% representation from neo-liberals, is independently pursuing their political agenda as they gain leverage in the executive branch, gradually implementing their plans.
In many cases, they utilize their influence over Pashinyan, effectively executing their mission through him.
In particular, the celebration of Citizen's Day can be seen as an expression of liberal ideology, as it aims to promote a perception of personal interest, which is a highly subjective interpretation, over public benefit, thereby weakening social resistance to foreign customs and values that are being introduced into our still conservative society.
Liberal values are still alien to our traditional society and the broader population, and any attempt to artificially impose them carries unpredictable consequences.
I urge Pashinyan to monitor the liberals within his government and refrain from any encroachments against Armenian traditional and family values.”
