Prime Minister Visits Ararat Group Water Factory
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has visited the Ararat Group water factory in the Ararat region to familiarize himself with its operations and upcoming investment projects.
The Prime Minister was informed that the factory produces water, mineral water, and sweet carbonated beverages. Since 2007, the factory has made an investment of $40 million and has been in active operation since 2014. Eighty percent of its products are exported to the USA, China, and the Russian Federation.
It was noted that before 2020, plans are in place to expand the factory within the framework of an investment project and to start producing beer as well. As new production lines are added, it is expected that the number of jobs will increase from the current 100 to 300-350.
Prime Minister Pashinyan welcomed the company’s development plans and stated that the government is ready to provide assistance within the framework of its tools for the implementation of these plans.
