Video: After Coup Attempt in Venezuela, U.S. Airlines Banned from Entering Airspace
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration has prohibited American airlines from operating flights in Venezuelan airspace due to the "political instability and tensions" in the country, ordering them to leave Venezuela within 48 hours. This information has been reported by local media.
It is noted that the warning applies to all air carriers registered in the United States.
Recall that on April 30, Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaidó, who has declared himself the interim president of the country, gathered with his supporters on the highway near the military base "Carlota" in the capital.
The Venezuelan Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation into the attempted coup. There are dozens of reported injuries.
