MP and Local Head Attack Deputy Governor at Citizen's Day Event in Yeghegnadzor
According to SHAMSHYAN.com, an incident occurred in the Vayots Dzor region yesterday, April 27. Around 18:00, the Yeghegnadzor police station received a call from 38-year-old Razmik Tonoyan, a resident of Vayk, reporting that at approximately 16:30, during the Citizen's Day event on Shahumyan Street in Yeghegnadzor, he was approached by 56-year-old Sergey Bagratyan, a resident of Yerevan, and 50-year-old Armen Setrakyan, a resident of the village of Yeghisis in Vayots Dzor. They exhibited disrespectful behavior towards the public, directed sexual slurs at him, used inappropriate expressions, insulted him, and attempted to assault him.
According to G. Shamshyan, Razmik Tonoyan is the deputy governor of Vayots Dzor, Sergey Bagratyan is a member of the National Assembly from the Prosperous Armenia Party, and Armen Setrakyan is the administrative head of the Artabuynt village in the Yeghisis community of Vayots Dzor.
In connection with the incident, materials are being prepared in the investigative department of the Yeghegnadzor police station.
