Abovyan Park Closed to Myasnikyan Avenue

Abovyan Park is currently closed leading to Myasnikyan Avenue. Sources from Aurora Media report that a truck has collided with the concrete ceiling in the tunnel and is now trapped inside. Both traffic police and emergency ministry personnel are on-site. The closure of Abovyan Park, which leads into a small tunnel toward Myasnikyan Avenue, is expected to last about 2 hours. To avoid unnecessary issues, drivers heading to Myasnikyan are advised to choose the Khanjyan-Heratsi route instead.

It is worth noting that this is not the first incident in this tunnel. Recently, another truck with Georgian license plates also became stuck in the same location. Drivers often do not realize the height limitations of the mentioned tunnel. It is also critical to note that the sign indicating the tunnel's height is located right at the entrance, leaving no room for action after entering.
