Samvel Adyan, Official from State Oversight Service, Released from ‘Kentron’ Penitentiary
Samvel Adyan, the acting head of the procurement processes oversight department of the State Oversight Service, was released from the penitentiary this morning. This was reported by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia.
Adyan's lawyer, Davit Mnatsakanian, categorically refused to provide information to the media, stating that his client has prohibited him from communicating with the media and sharing information.
It is noteworthy that a few days ago, the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction rejected the proposal of the National Security Service investigator to extend Adyan's detention period, and today marked the end of the two-month period of his detention.
