Court Decision on Kocharyan's Detention Extension to Be Announced Tomorrow
The Yerevan First Instance Court will announce its decision tomorrow at 15:00 regarding the request from the Special Investigative Service (SIS) to extend the detention period of former president Robert Kocharyan by another two months. This was stated by Kocharyan's lawyer, Hayk Alumyann, following a session that lasted more than nine hours today.
“The second president of the Republic of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, provided a lengthy explanation for approximately 40 minutes, detailing what transpired from February 19 until March 2,” he noted.
In Alumyann's opinion, the arguments they presented are quite substantial.
