Alexander Sargsyan Granted Permission to Leave Armenia for a Limited Time
The National Security Service of Armenia has not disclosed the reasons for allowing Alexander Sargsyan to temporarily leave the Republic of Armenia. This was reported by the Armenian Hour.
It is noteworthy that Sargsyan is accused of large-scale fraud, and the investigative body (National Security Service) had previously imposed a travel ban on him as a precautionary measure.
When asked by the media how long Sargsyan would be absent from Armenia and what justifications or reasons he had presented, NSS spokesperson Samson Galstyan replied, “The preliminary investigative body has granted Alexander Sargsyan permission to be absent from Armenia for a certain period, but I cannot provide any further details.”
The media outlet notes that according to their information, Sargsyan is expected to return to Armenia in the coming days; reportedly, he is currently in Spain.
