What the Minister of Education Proposed to Hunger Striker Hovhannes Galstyan

The Minister of Education, Araik Harutyunyan, wrote on his Facebook page:

What I proposed to hunger striker Hovhannes Galstyan

I am pleased that Hovhannes Galstyan has ended his hunger strike. I have proposed the following to him and communicated the text, after which he ended his hunger strike: “As a member of the government, I am ready to meet Hovhannes Galstyan on February 26 at 5:30 PM to discuss the existing issues in the sector. Additionally, on March 1 at 9:30 AM, I will organize a meeting with Hovhannes Galstyan, his lawyer, the director of the National Cinema Center Shushanig Mirzakhanyan, other lawyers, and myself to discuss the issues surrounding the film 'Grandmother's Hair'. We will do our utmost to resolve the issue while also not excluding the possibility that if we do not achieve success, the matter may be resolved through judicial/legal means.”
