Serious Car Accident in Ararat Province: Injured Are a Married Couple
Today, February 20, a serious car accident occurred in Ararat Province. Around 22:00, the driver of a Mercedes vehicle with license plate 34 CP 621 lost control while heading towards the village of Ditak, veered off the roadway, collided with a sturdy tree, brought it down, and ended up in a ravine.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, both the driver and the passenger sustained bodily injuries and were transported to the Artashat Medical Center, from where they were transferred to the Yerevan Erebuni Medical Center.
The police are investigating the identities of the driver and the injured individual. Eyewitnesses at the scene stated that the driver and the passenger are married. The driver is in extremely critical condition, while the woman is in serious but stable condition.
