After the Minister of Transport's Visit, a Man is Beaten at the Bus Station by Bogo's 'Thugs'
The Minister of Transport, Communication, and Information Technologies, Hakob Arshakyan, visited the "Kilikia" central bus station today and presented the situation prevailing there, according to armdaily.am.
The minister focused on the existing conditions, highlighting the problems and necessary actions. It may be possible to rectify the restrooms or the sanitary and hygienic conditions, and it would be appropriate for the minister to pay attention not only to the external, formal aspects but also to the substance and content.
A concerned citizen who contacted our editorial office shared his outrage that today, after the minister’s visit, at the bus station, under the urging of the criminal authority Bogo, who is close to Samvel Aleksanyan, two men were assaulted for allegedly not behaving well.
Although the director of the bus station has changed, the owners remain the same, along with their pressures and bad practices. During the incident, there were no police present at the bus station, and naturally, this latest beating will go without consequences. Therefore, Hakob Arshakyan should pay attention to more critical issues beyond just the restrooms, if he is capable of doing so.
