VIDEO: Marijuana Smokers are Very Kind, Detained Host Calls for Following Georgia's Example

Arman Margaryan, a host of Public Television, clarified in a live broadcast on his Facebook page the information circulated in the media yesterday regarding his detention on suspicion of drug use and possession.

The host titled his broadcast “Love for Everyone.”

Margaryan promised to investigate how his personal information ended up on the source website.

“I oppose the notion that those who smoke marijuana are drug addicts, and I’m against treating these individuals like criminals. My dears, what century are you living in? It’s the 21st century; it’s completely normal all over the world, and many countries are benefiting economically from it. At least follow Georgia's example and do not consider these people criminals or drug addicts. Believe me, people who consume alcohol are far more dangerous to society,” concluded the host.
