Woman Collapses and Dies While Waiting at Yerevan Polyclinic

A tragic incident occurred today around 14:20 at Polyclinic No. 15 in the Malatia-Sebastia community of Yerevan.

Witnesses reported to Sputnik Armenia that a woman’s health deteriorated while waiting in line for a doctor’s appointment. Medical staff at the polyclinic called for emergency assistance, but unfortunately, they were unable to save her.

The director of the polyclinic, Hakob Harutyunyan, confirmed the information. He emphasized that the incident did not happen within the polyclinic premises, but rather in the yard outside. The woman’s health worsened while she was sitting on a bench in the yard.

“She had chronic illnesses and had refused hospital treatment, even signing a form to that effect. Today, she came with her husband, and her heart condition deteriorated. It’s highly likely that it was a heart attack,” Harutyunyan stated.
