David Tonoyan on the Acquisition of Su-30 Fighters

“The fighters, according to the contract, are supposed to arrive in Armenia within the appropriate time frame.” This was stated today by the Minister of Defense of Armenia, David Tonoyan, during a conversation with journalists when asked whether the Su-30 fighters are in Armenia.

Tonoyan, addressing the question of whether the acquisition of Su-30s would continue, noted, “Yes, we will not be satisfied with just four units.”

David Tonoyan mentioned that he was very pleased with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's announcement that funds stolen from the state would be directed towards the development of the Armed Forces.

“This makes me very happy; it has already started. I can’t disclose the amount, but it is sufficient for us to take appropriate measures,” he emphasized.
