Pashinyan Calls for Writing in Armenian on the Internet
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has called for writing in Armenian characters on the internet. He made this announcement on his Facebook page.
“Dear compatriots, since 2012, February 7 has been declared a day for writing in Armenian letters online through a public initiative. In this regard, every day is February 7 for me, and I want to urge all of you to write texts in Armenian on the internet using Armenian characters.
This is a more respectful approach not only to our national genius, Mesrop Mashtots, but also to all those users who read your posts,” his message read.
