Emergency Situation in Aragatsotn Region: Mijanatun Village Road Completely Blocked Due to Snow

An emergency situation has arisen in the Aragatsotn region for several hours now. The road connecting Mijanatun village is completely blocked due to snow, and the local road maintenance service has not taken action to assist the villagers stranded in this helpless situation for several days.

Today, several vehicles that were trapped under the snow have only been able to be removed thanks to the citizens and the rescue operations of the Emergency Situations Ministry’s firefighters from Aparan.

In a conversation with SHAMSHYANcom, the stranded citizens, who refused to speak on camera, expressed their frustration, stating, "This chaotic situation has persisted for days. The village road has turned into a hopeless path. We have been begging the road maintenance service to help, but to no avail. The road is under the management of the company owned by Hovhannes Martirosyan, and they seem to be completely oblivious, taking no measures to resolve the issue."
