Blizzard from Sevan Peninsula to Dilijan Tunnel

The Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of Armenia informs that as of January 16 at 20:00, snow is falling in the Aparan-Mirak section of the road.

A blizzard is reported on the road section from Sevan Peninsula to Dilijan Tunnel. Ground blizzard conditions are present on the roads of Artik.

Due to heavy snowfall and poor visibility, the Vardenyats Pass is closed.

Other inter-state and national significance roads in Armenia remain open.

Road construction teams are carrying out snow removal and salting operations on the roads.
